Approximately 200 years ago in a small village, Gopineni Paalem Andhra Pradesh. A couple, Kolla Sivaramayya & Rangamma pray for Lord Venkateshwara and they are blessed with a baby girl, Tirupatamma , who is a great devotee of Lord Venkateswara. When Tirupatamma becomes sixteen years old her maternal uncle's son Gopayya visits their village and falls in love with her.
