The film begins in a village, there lives a young & courageous guy Ramu who sits idle without any work which suffers his foster mother Pullatla Tayaramma. Phani Bhushan Rao, the Zamindar of the village is a crooked & cruel person, his sister Lalitha returns from the city, completing her studies. She likes Ramu's innocence and both of them fall in love.
