The story revolves around two identical cousins Bhanumathi & Chandramathi children of siblings sisters. Bhanu is vainglory naughty woman, daughter of a millionaire Engineer Narayana Rao whereas Chandra is an innocent, hard-working woman, daughter of a penniless Ramanujam who suffers in the hands of her stepmother Sundaramma .
